Tax Professionals
Tasks:
Compute taxes owed or overpaid, using adding machines or personal computers, and complete entries on forms, following tax form instructions and tax tables.
Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.
Use all appropriate adjustments, deductions, and credits to keep clients’ taxes to a minimum.
Interview clients to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances.
Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.
Furnish taxpayers with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion.
Consult tax law handbooks or bulletins to determine procedures for preparation of atypical returns.
Calculate form preparation fees according to return complexity and processing time required.
Check data input or verify totals on forms prepared by others to detect errors in arithmetic, data entry, or procedures.
Associates or a Bachelor’s degree preferably
2+ years prior work experience as a tax preparer
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours during peak season
CPA certification a plus
Proficiency with Excel
Demonstrate ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environment
Sales Associates & District Sales Manager
Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
Tasks
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staffs.
Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
Determine price schedules and discount rates.
Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities, real estate or other subjects of sale.
Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.
